Teachers will still be working but our Pre-Prep will be closed from Thursday 16th July!
Have a lovely summer break, we look forward to seeing all 1st years back in September!
As part of the transition process for families from our first year to our second year we will be hosting a ‘virtual transition meeting’. This will be led by Stuart who will be talking you through the difference in our year groups.
For those children currently attending KPP, we will be hosting Teacher/Parents meetings via zoom. Dates and times to be confirmed with your teacher, this will be done by bubbles.
Slots will last 15min as always.
Ever wonder what would happen if children had no toys to play with? Last time we run this initiative we were all wowed by how much creativity children showed at making their own toys and games. Lots of new friendships and team work developed and everyone just seemed so much happier, active and engaged! Please bring in any loose parts such as cardboard boxes, shells, wood, etc, that we could use to ignite children’s imagination. More info nearer the time!

Who doesn’t love a cake sale! We will kindly ask all families in the morning sessions to get involved by bringing in baked goods (To avoid food wastage we ask that the afternoon session families please do not bring anything in this year. It will be your turn next year!)
Storytelling and Drama workshops lead by Cat & Hutch. Every workshops is based on a children's book. Cat & Hutch use different drama games and techniques to jump into the stories and discover new worlds and characters. Every child is encouraged to use their imagination to help put their own spin on the story as they develop their own confidence, communication and collaboration skills.
Clare and Maria create gentle stories that help children relate to and recognise their own life experiences. Through different animal characters their books allow children to explore their thoughts and feelings and offer useful ways to think those challenges through. Aimed at children 3 - 8 years old.
Clare, herself, will visiting both CPP and KPP and reading her books to our children :)

Miss Mouse - our children’s yoga teacher, PE and movement specialist, will be leading yoga workshops with each of our second years classes.
We have invited The Parent Practice again this year to deliver an intro of their well-know ‘Creating Connection, Confidence and Cooperation’ workshop. Join us for some Top Tips on how to have confident and cooperative children and get your children following instructions first time every time! Suitable for parents with toddlers through to teens!
Held at Chelsea Pre-Prep , 9:15am-10:15am. Coffee and orange juice provided, bring your own cup please!

Cat & Hutch will perform ‘The World Book Day Monster’ by Adam & Charlotte Guillain. Only for children. Held at CPP.
Bring in a book to swap or donate and dress up in your favourite character. Literacy will be the focus of the week, igniting the passion for reading and helping them create and bring to life their own stories.

Yum! Children will be immersed in reading, writing or following recipes, measuring, choosing ingredients and, of course, making pancakes!
Monday 17th - Friday 21st February from 9am-12pm, for KPP and CPP children aged 3-5yo (returning older siblings welcome). Led by both CPP and KPP teachers, held at Kingsland, snacks included. First come first serve, please contact Miss Venetia to sign up.
Staff training on Mental Health and well-being to support both adults and children. Training led by expert Kate Moxley.
We’ll get children involved in making Eco-swaps such as eco-soaps, Beewax food wrapping…children will be encouraging people to make eco swaps to help the environment. More information nearer the time.
